Thomas

Thomas my 2nd house rabbit is the total opposite - he is very shy. If strangers come to the cottage they would not even know he exists as he would stay well hidden, but fuss? he loves a fuss! he demands a fuss! He will grab hold of my slipper as I walk past him to stop me for a fuss. He always expects his biscuit first thing in the morning and will sit on your feet in the kitchen until he gets his biscuit - then he'll demand another fuss. He will pick up a cat toy (favorite being a squeaky mouse) and gallop round and around the room with it in his mouth, making that funny bunny 'erphing' noise - then want another fuss.
When he first arrived he had an identity crisis he would follow the 2 chinchilla's round and round and he couldn't fit in there sand pit, so he tried first to put the front end in, then to put his bottom in, but he now knows he is not a chin.
His best trick is when I go to the toilet, being mostly alone in cottage, I do not always close the door - BIG MISTAKE - I hear the thud tuddity thud of furry feet then bifff as the door whacks me around my head, then his podgy furry little face peers around the door with an almost 'feline' grin on it.
Thomas also helps me with the shopping, but not quite to the same extent as Micky - both bunnies always reconise the sound of my car and go mad galloping around and around the room when they heard it, then sit and wait by the back door for me to come in, and they both go mad at tea time, galloping around and around when they know there food bowl is on its way.

But above all they give and take love and affection, and are superb company.
